Subject: Approve closure of all Lake County Behavioral Health Services locations on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 for a mandatory training from 8am to 1pm.
Executive Summary:
Extensive training on ethical issues and confidentiality is critical and mandatory for Lake County Behavioral Health Services Department staff. We will be participating in a training provided by Garrett Law, one of the most reputable sources of information about ethics and confidentiality in California behavioral health on April 24, 2024 and request to close all office locations for the morning to allow staff to attend. This training will focus specifically on Medical Malpractice and Risk Management.
