Subject: Consideration of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement Between County of Lake and Sutter Center for Psychiatry for Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital Services and Professional Services Associated with Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalizations in the amount of $225,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2023-24
Executive Summary:
The Department's use of Sutter Center for Psychiatry for these services has increased above projections this fiscal year. We must increase the contract by $175,000 to cover services through the end of the fiscal year. These services are Medi-Cal/Medicare reimbursable; depending on the beneficiary's aid code we may receive 75-90% of the cost back in billing.
