Subject: Approve Memorandum of Understanding between Lake County Behavioral Health Services and Lake County Health Services Departments for the Safe Rx Program in the amount of $80,000 through FY 2023-24 and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
Lake County Behavioral Health Services and Lake County Health Services Department continue to partner around the Safe Rx program. Lake County Behavioral Health Services has allocated another $40,000 of funding to Safe Rx through the Substance Abuse Block Grant into fiscal year 2023-24. Safe Rx is in the process of establishing an Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee, and these funds will support that work.
