Executive Summary:

Supervisor Green pledged $25,000 to Public Services to assist with upgrading the shelter located at 1111 Whalen Ave, Lakeport.  Public Services has been working with Behavioral Health and Administration to best spend the funds.

One of the upgrades is the purchase of two washer/dryer combo units.  Since the price including installation, parts and tax are over the threshold of $5,000, the units are capital assets.

Behavioral Health is purchasing a long-range stove to replace the current unusable stove so meals may be prepared on site.  To complete this, a capital asset needs to be created.  The funds will be reallocated from the Southshore capital asset.

Staff recommends your board approves the budget transfer and amendment of the capital asset listing.
