Subject: A) Approve the General Services Agreement between the County of Lake and EBA Engineering for Civil Engineering Services; and
B) Approve Supplemental Services Agreement Number One for Civil Engineering Services for the Emergency Operations Center Drainage Improvements Project in the amount of $20,635.00
Executive Summary:
On December 3, 2024 your Board approved a pre-qualified list of civil engineering service providers available for future work with the County. Since then, Public Services staff negotiated with one of the firms on the list, EBA Engineering, for a scope of work for civil engineering surveying, design, and construction administration services for drainage improvements at the site of the County’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Central Dispatch facilities.
For your Board’s consideration are two agreements with EBA:
1) General Services Agreement that defines general terms and conditions; and
2) Supplemental Service Agreement One that covers EBA’s scope of work for the EOC project. Appropriations for this scope of work are included in Budget Unit 1785, Public Safety Facilities, with funding provided through a grant from the Community Development Block Grant Mitigation Resilient Infrastructure Program.
Staff recommends your Board’s approval of the General Services Agreement and Supplemental Services Agreement One.
