Subject: Consideration of Contract between County of Lake and Redwood Community Services, Inc. for Wrap Around Services, in the amount of $485,000.00 per fiscal year from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028, and authorize the Chair to sign.
Executive Summary:
Redwood Community Services, Inc. (RCS) has contracted with the Lake County Department of Social Services (LCDSS) since 2010 for the provision of wrap around services for foster children and their families. The Program includes a comprehensive assessment of family needs, the development of individualized service plans in consultation with the family, family advocacy, assistance with accessing related services, crisis planning, and other services on an as needed basis. Since June 2015, RCS has provided Wraparound Services to 229 children, youth, and their families, and currently 9 families are active in the program. The program’s continuation is an important part of maintaining the health and well-being of youth and families with complex needs; enabling children to remain in the community in the lowest level of possible care.
On April 7, 2025, LCDSS submitted a request for proposal. RCS was the only agency to submit a proposal.
