Executive Summary:

In adopting the initial Master Fee Schedule, your Board expressed intent that it be routinely updated, and established the authority and procedures to accomplish such updates. Consequently, in accordance with Article XXVIII in Chapter 2 of the County Code, a Resolution adopting updates to the Master Fee Schedule is presented for your consideration.

The attached Resolution and exhibit reflect staff’s recommendation to amend fees for Animal Care and Control, Auditor-Controller/County Clerk, Building Safety Division, Code Enforcement, Environmental Health, Planning Division, Public Health, Public Services, Public Works, Sheriff and Water Resources. The Animal Care and Control department is requesting reorganization of the structure of fees and updating the way adoption fees are classified. Building and Safety, Code Enforcement, Planning Department, Public Services, Public Works and Water Resources is requesting changes due to CPI increase.
