Subject: Presentation of Proclamation Commending Christine Smith for her 23 Years of Service to the County of Lake
Executive Summary:
WHEREAS, Christine Smith, began service with the County of Lake as a Child Support Officer in January of 2001; and
WHEREAS, Christine Smith promoted to a Child Support Special Programs Coordinator in May 2005; and
WHEREAS, Christine Smith promoted to an Information System Analyst in October 2012; and
WHEREAS, Christine Smith has excelled in each and every position she has held with Lake County Department of Child Support Services. She has shown efficient and exemplary work habits and ability to accomplish an incredible amount of work.
WHEREAS, Christine has been described as knowledgeable, robust, friendly, outgoing, and a hard worker; and
WHEREAS, after dedicating 23 years of service to Lake County and the Department of Child Support Services she retired on March 4th, 2024; and
WHEREAS, Christine Smith was a valuable member of the Department of Child Support Services and she will be deeply missed by all of us.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Lake does hereby commend Christine Smith for her 23 years of outstanding and dedicated service to the County of Lake and the Department of Child Support Services, and we wish her good health and happiness during her retirement.
