Subject:                     Consideration of the following appointments to the Child Care Planning and Development Council and changes to Membership Assignments

 

Executive Summary:

 

The Lake County Child Care Planning Council works to build partnerships with individuals and organizations in our community to help meet the child care needs of our communities. Our council members are volunteers who care about the issues impacting the children of Lake County. Members are appointed by the Lake County Superintendent of Schools and the Lake County Board of Supervisors.

Please appoint the following applicants to the Child Care Planning and Development Council:

 

                     Gina Lyle-Griffin has renewed her Discretionary Appointee seat.

                     Seanie Egger has renewed her Public Agency seat.

                     April Strait has just been appointed by the council as a new Discretionary seat.

                     Raj Samra has just been appointed by the council as a new Child Care Provider.

 

The following changes in membership have been requested by the Lake County Child Care and Development Council:

 

                     Megan Handy is now a Consumer in the Council, previously she was in the Child Care Provider seat.

 

                     Miriam McNamara is now a Child Care Provider, previously in a Discretionary seat.

 

                     Cynthia Dominguez has resigned from her Community Representative seat on the council.
