The mission of the Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance (TERA), a non-profit organization, is to revitalize ecology, economy, and culture through Indigenous-led stewardship is of great service to Lake County. Their work supports key priorities, such as wildfire preparedness, watershed and ecosystem restoration, and community resilience. Additionally, TERA’s efforts help address the critical challenge of building a trained workforce to manage natural resources and restore landscapes, while creating meaningful jobs in our county.
