Executive Summary:
The Plans and Specifications for the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff Asphalt Rehabilitation Project are complete, and a copy has been filed with the Clerk of the Board.
The construction estimate is approximately $222,919.17.
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) provides funds to eligible projects through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) and STIP COVID Funds. Therefore, this project is 92% funded for construction with State funds, and a local match of 8% will be provided by the Road Department to cover additional construction costs.

Recommended Action:
Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve the Plans and Specifications and authorize the Public Works Director / Assistant Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids once authorization to proceed with construction phase is received from Caltrans.
