Memorandum
Date: June 18, 2024
To: The Honorable Bruno Sabatier, Chair, Lake County Board of Supervisors
From: Lars Ewing, Public Services Director
Subject: A) Approve the General Services Agreement between the County of Lake and California Engineering Company, Inc. for Capital Project Management Services; and
B) Approve Supplemental Services Agreement Number One for the Kelseyville Senior Center Project in the amount of $339,715.00
Executive Summary:
On February 27, 2024 your Board approved a pre-qualified list of capital project management service providers available for future work with the County. Since then, Public Services staff negotiated with one of the firms on the list, California Engineering Company (CEC), for a scope of work for professional planning, design and construction management services for the renovation of the Kelseyville Senior Center.
For your Board’s consideration are two agreements with CEC:
1) General Services Agreement that defines general terms and conditions; and
2) Supplemental Service Agreement One that covers CEC’s scope of work for the Kelseyville Senior Center, which includes master planning, design development, construction documents, bid assistance, and construction administration. Funding for this scope of work is included in Budget Unit 1778, Capital Projects.
Staff recommends your Board’s approval of the General Services Agreement and Supplemental Services Agreement One.
