Executive Summary:

 

The attached resolution titled “Resolution Accepting Official Canvass of the Presidential Primary Election held on March 5, 2024; and Declaring Officials Duly Elected; and Elected In Lieu of Election”; the Certification of Registrar of Voters of the Results of the Canvass of the March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election; the Help America Vote Act of 2002 Certification of Elections Official; and the Certification of the results of the 1% Manual Tally; along with the Statement of Votes is being submitted for your Board’s approval pursuant to Section 15372 of the California Elections Code.

Recommended Action: 

 

It is recommended that the Lake County Board of Supervisors adopt “Resolution Accepting Official Canvass of the Presidential Primary Election held on March 5, 2024; and Declaring Officials Duly Elected; and Elected In Lieu of Election”; and accept and the elections officials’ certifications of the official canvass of the election results along with the Statement of Votes prepared by the Registrar of Voters office.
