Subject:                     Approve waiving the 900 hour extra help limit for staff in the Sheriff’s Department

 

Executive Summary:    The Sheriff’s Department requests approval to exceed the 900 hour extra help limit on the following employees:

 

Chris Macedo and Douglas Pike are each assigned to Court Security and funding is reimbursed through the Trial Court Security Account.

 

Emil Devincenzi is assigned to the Marine Patrol Division.   Funding is reimbursed through the Department of Boating and Waterways.

 

Each of these employees are PERS retirees and will not exceed 960 total hours in this fiscal year.   

 

Von Morshed  is assigned to Administration and her hours may exceed the 900 hour limit.   Brenndon Bosse is assigned to Marine Patrol.   They are not PERS retirees and are not governed by the same rules that apply to PERS retirees.  Von’s hours will not exceed 1,300 and Brenndon’s hours will not exceed 960.

 

Jim Adams is assigned to the jail and their hours may exceed the 900 hour limit but will not exceed 960 hours.
