Subject: Approve Addendum to Corrected Certification of County Elections Official of Results of the Official Canvass of Election Returns and the Results of the 1% Manual Tally of Randomly Selected Voting Precincts for the September 14, 2021 Statewide Special Election
Executive Summary:
The “Certification of County Elections Official Results of the Official Canvass of the Election Returns and the Results of the 1% Manual Tally of Randomly Selected Voting Precincts for the September 14, 2021 Statewide Special Election” was timely accepted by the Lake County Board of Supervisors during a regularly scheduled meeting of that Board on October 19, 2021, as shown in the Board of Supervisors’ Official Meeting Minutes on that date.
It was recently discovered that said Certification contained a typographical error in that the last statement in that Certification incorrectly indicates it was signed by the Lake County Registrar of Voters on September 14, 2021 when it was, in fact, signed on October 14, 2021.

Recommended Action:
In order to ensure the accuracy of the Elections records, the Lake County Board of Supervisors hereby approves and accepts the Certification of County Elections Official of Results of the Official Canvass of Elections Returns and the Results of the 1% Manual Tally of Randomly Selected Voting Precincts for the September 14, 2021 Statewide Special Election, as hereby corrected, nunc pro tunc to October 14, 2021
