Subject:                     Adopt Resolution Approving County of Lake Health Services to Apply for Funding in the Amount of $471,805 Through the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for Fiscal Years 2026 Through 2031 and Authorize the Interim Director of Health Services to Sign Said Application

 

Executive Summary:

 

We respectfully request your approval to accept funding from California Department of Public Health for STI Prevention and Collaboration for the period of FY 2026 through 2031 in the amount of $471,805. 

 

The funding will be used for the implementation of public health activities related to monitoring, prevention, testing, and linkage to and retention in care activities for the most vulnerable and underserved individuals living with, or at high risk for, STIs in collaboration with community-based organizations (CBOs).
