Subject: Approve Amended and Restated Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement Between Sutter, Nevada, Yuba, Colusa and Lake Counties, and the Cities of Live Oak, Yuba City and Colusa, for the Purpose of Creating a Regional Housing Authority and Authorize the Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
As your board is aware, the Lake County Housing Commission is in the process of transferring our Section 8 Housing voucher programs to Regional Housing Authority to better serve the people of Lake County. In conference with HUD (Housing and Urban Development), an amended and restated JPA agreement between all counties and cities served by RHA is required to move forward with the transfer.
