Subject:                     Adopt Resolution Approving County of Lake Health Services to Apply for Funding in the Amount of $465,591 Through the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for Fiscal Years 2025 Through 2026 and Authorize the Director of Health Services to Sign Said Application

 

Executive Summary:

 

We respectfully request your approval to accept funding from the California Department of Public Health for the Health Care Program for Children in Foster Care (HCPCFC) for the period of FY 2025 through 2026 in the amount of $465,591.

 

This funding provides public health nurse (PHN) expertise in meeting the medical, dental, mental and developmental needs of children and youth in foster care and is the foundation of meeting state mandates and the maintenance of essential services countywide.
