Subject: Approve Agreement with GovEase Auction LLC for Property Tax Sale Auction Services with the associated costs of the Auction paid by the winning bidder and authorize the Chair to sign
Executive Summary:
The County has utilized the Request for Proposals conducted by Napa County for Chapter 7 Property Tax Sale auction services. GovEase Auctions LLC was the selected bidder, and Lake County will now piggyback on this agreement for services commencing with the May, 2025 auction.
Except in unusual circumstances, the costs associated with the auction will be paid by the winning bidder. All costs associated with the sales are assessed to winning or redeeming party.
The proposed agreement is attached for your Board’s consideration.
