Subject:                     Consideration of Appointments to the General Plan Advisory Committee

 

Executive Summary:  On January 9, 2024, there was Board consensus to create a 15 member committee to give input on the development of the General Plan and all eight Local Area Plans.  The General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) will provide valuable community perspective with ideas, the review of draft and completed work, providing feedback to County staff and consultants, and by building community support for the plan they will help to create.

 

This newly formed committee is seeking 15 members to fill the categories listed below:

 

(1) Fire District, (1) Tribal, (1) Homeowners Association, (1) Education, (1) Water District,

(1)Environmental Group, (1) Senior Support Services, (1) Business Association,

(1) Conventional Agriculture, (1) Cannabis Industry and (5) Members-At-Large, one seat for each Supervisorial District
