Subject:                     (a) Waive the formal bidding process, pursuant to Lake County Code Section 38.2, as it is not in the public interest due to the unique nature of goods or services; and (b) Approve the Agreement between Lake County Health Services and Lake County Office of Education Healthy Start Youth and Family Services Program for the Oral Health Program Provided by County of Lake Public Health Division for Fiscal Year 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26, 2026-27 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Agreement.

 

Executive Summary:

Attached, for your approval, is the Services Agreement between Lake County Health Services and Lake County Office of Education Healthy Start Youth and Family Services Program.

Lake County Office of Education Healthy Start Youth and Family Services Program is a school based program that coordinates Oral Health screenings, referrals, and provides dental case management along with Oral Health Education to families and students within the school districts throughout Lake County. Lake County Office of Education Healthy Start Youth and Family Services Program has had over twenty years of experience with providing advocacy and school based services in Lake County.
