Subject:                     Ratify Year Two (2024) Compensation Adjustment for the Agreement for Medical Services in Lake County Detention Facility with California Forensic Medical Group (CFMG).

 

Executive Summary:

 

Due to challenges of recruiting Registered Nurse (RN) coverage for nights, as required in our contract with CFMG, a request was made to expand their staffing plan to allow Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) staffing to ensure continuity of care.

 

The adjustment includes an updated staffing matrix, with the inclusion of LVN coverage, as well as the provision that CFMG will credit the County the fully loaded hourly rate difference per hour worked.

 

All other provisions of the agreement remain in effect.

 

All parties involved, including the Health Services Department, Public Health Officer, Sheriff, County Administrative Office, and CFMG have agreed to the adjustment.
