Subject: Consideration of Resolution Amending Resolution No. 2023-117 Establishing Position Allocations for Fiscal Year 2023-2024, Budget Unit No. 2111 Public Defender and establishing the Deputy Public Defender I/II/III/Sr. and Public Defender I/II as County classification.
Executive Summary:
The position allocation resolution will add position allocations to budget unit 2111 Public Defender and establish Deputy Public Defender I/II/III/Sr. and Public Defender Investigator I/II classifications in County service.
The salary for the classifications has been assigned based on comparable County positions and County standards per salary spread guidelines.
The position allocation chart is being amended to add 3 Deputy Public Defender I/II/III/Senior classifications and 1 (one) Public Defender Investigator I/II classification.
