Subject:                     10:30 A.M. - Presentation by Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) regarding 2026 Strategic Plan and Legislative Platform.

 

 

Executive Summary:

RCRC President and CEO Pat Blacklock will provide a brief presentation to the Lake County Board of Supervisors detailing the organization’s ongoing advocacy and support for California’s rural counties. The presentation will include:

 

                     Organizational Overview: An update on RCRC’s mission and the role of its affiliate entities (GSFA, NHF, GSCA, GSNR, ESJPA and RAI) in providing services to member counties.

 

                     2026 Legislative Platform: A summary of RCRC’s current policy priorities in Sacramento and Washington D.C., focusing on issues impacting rural governance, infrastructure, and resource management.

 

                     Strategic Plan: An overview of RCRC’s long-term roadmap to enhance the representation and fiscal health of its member counties.
