Subject: Approve Contract for Services Agreement for Continued Funding in the amount of $85,000 and Authorize the Department Head to Sign Contract Agreement Documentation with Public Health Institute.
Executive Summary:
The continued funding from PHI will help to support the work of SafeRx thru its Coalition of local agencies. Focus on coordinating and aligning projects, community events and funds to increase harm reduction and education in the community with the goal of reducing substance use and overdoses in Lake County. The original grant was $40,000 per year for 3 years with a 1 year extension.
