Subject: Adopt Resolution to affirm the establishment of the PSA 26 Area Agency on Aging Legal Business Name, Physical Address, U.S. State of Incorporation, and Start Year
Executive Summary:
The PSA 26 Area Agency on Aging (AAA) must maintain an active registration in the U.S. Government’s SAM.GOV website database in order to receive funding from the California Department of Aging (CDA). Part of the registration renewal process is to verify the legal business name, the physical address, the U.S. State of Incorporation, and the start year of the AAA. This may be accomplished by a local government body affirming this information through a Resolution. This Resolution is presented to your Board for adoption and subsequent submission to the SAM.GOV website during the registration renewal process completed by staff at the AAA.
