Subject: Approve Amendment to the Agreement for Engineering Services and Construction Support on HBP-Funded Bridge Project BRLO-5914(094) Chalk Mountain Rd. over Cache Creek in Lake County, CA in the amount of $7,516.52 and authorize the Chair to Sign
Executive Summary:
On February 2, 2016, the Board of Supervisors approved an Agreement between the County of Lake and Drake Haglan & Associates now known as Dewberry Engineering, Inc. for preliminary design, right of way, bidding and construction support services for HBP-Funded Bridge Project BRLO-5914(094) Chalk Mountain Rd. over Cache Creek in Lake County, CA. Originally an allowance of $5,000.00 was allotted for construction services. Due to the increased scope and time required to provide construction support we are requesting an increase of $7,516.52 to the original agreement.
In consideration of this increase The County has reduced the Construction Management contract amount by $7,680.00 to provide for the increased Construction Support Requirement.
The cost of services to be rendered under this Agreement will be funded through the federal highway bridge program and state toll credits, as appropriate.

Recommended Action:
Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve this amendment for construction support services for Chalk Mountain Rd. over Cache Creek Bridge Replacement Project in the amount of $7,516.52 and authorize the Chair to execute said Agreement.
