Subject: Approve Amendment No. 1 to Agreement between the County of Lake and Community Development Services to provide Community Development Block Grant Consulting Services for an additional $50,000 for Activity Delivery, as awarded in Grant #20-CDBG-12081, and authorize the Chair to sign.
Executive Summary:
On March 15, 2022, your Board awarded a 5-year term agreement to Community Development Services (CDS) to provide general administrative services for the County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. This agreement provides services for multiple CDBG grants.
CDBG Grant #20-CDBG-12081 awarded the compensation for services as Administrative Services, and Activity Delivery in the amount of $50,000. CDBG has since combined both Administrative Services and Activity Delivery into one category titled Administrative Services.
The language in section 3. COMPENSATION of the original agreement failed to include the $50,000 Activity Delivery compensation.
Staff proposes to amend section 3. COMPENSATION of the agreement to include the $50,000 Activity Delivery amount awarded in Grant #20-CDBG-12081 as part of the compensation to Community Development Services.
