Subject: Approve the Qualified List of On-Call Grant Writing and Support Services Consultants for a period of Three (3) years with the option for Two (2) One (1) year Extensions
Executive Summary:
On March 12, 2025, the Public Works, Water Resources, and Public Services Departments published a request for qualifications (RFQ) for on-call grant writing and support services to solicit statements of qualifications (SOQ) for grant writing and support services consultants.
The RFQ did not specify any grant. The objective of the RFQ was to establish a list of qualified consultants to provide grant writing and support services with the intent to enter into contracts for specific projects in the future as the need arises.
On April 3, 2025, the County received fourteen (14) SOQs. A selection committee, comprised of representatives from four departments and Caltrans, evaluated the SOQs and selected consultants in accordance with the County’s Policy for Review and Selection of Professional Consultants, which resulted in the attached list of consultants.
The Public Works Department may contract with one or more of the consultants on the list on an “as-needed” basis.
The Public Works Director asks the Board of Supervisors to approve the attached “Qualified List of On-Call Grant Writing and Support Services Consultants for a period of three (3) years with the option of two (2) one-year extensions.
