Memorandum

Date:                                          March 10, 2020

To:                                          The Honorable Moke Simon, Chair, Lake County Board of Supervisors

From:                                          Carol J. Huchingson, Clerk of the Board

Subject:                     Approve correction to a typographical error contained in the Minutes from the Board of Supervisors meeting from April 16, 2019, revising the vote for Item 6.5 to 4 Ayes and 1 Recused.

Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):

It was brought to our office’s attention that there was a typographical error on the Minutes from the Board of Supervisors meeting of April 16, 2019. The vote for Item 6.5 titled “Consideration of Responses to the Bureau of Indian Affairs Invitation to Provide Comment on the Big Valley Band of Pomo Indians’ Land Acquisition Applications”, was entered incorrectly.  The minutes reflect that Supervisor Simon had recused himself from the item, yet the vote shows 5 Ayes, including Simon.  The correction has been made on the attached copy of the Minutes and the vote now shows 4 Ayes (Sabatier, Crandell, Scott and Brown) and 1 Recused (Simon).
