Subject: Consideration of Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement Between County of Lake and Manzanita House for Adult Residential Support Services and Specialty Mental Health Services for Fiscal Years 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 in the amount of $828,000.
Executive Summary:
Amendment No. 2 increases the total compensation in the agreement between the County of Lake and Manzanita House by $100,000, raising the contract maximum from $728,000 to $828,000. This change reflects continued high demand for the Contractor’s services and updates the “Compensation” section accordingly.
There has been an average of 5-6 Lake County clients placed at Manzanita House from July 2022 to the present. Manzanita House is a licensed Adult Residential Facility with a bed capacity of 6 located in Nice. This facility provides housing and non-medical personal care for adults age 18-59 who may have developmental, mental health, or physical disabilities. A portion of the costs are billed by BH to Public Guardian for conserved clients.
