Subject: Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Lake County Housing Action and Implementation Plan (HAIP) Services Between the County of Lake and Placeworks, Extending the Contract through May 30, 2025, at No Additional Cost to the County, and Authorize the Chair to Sign
Executive Summary:
Pursuant to your Board identifying “Building Sustainable Communities Through Housing and Long-Term Planning” among your Recovery and Revitalization Priorities, the American Rescue Plan Act-Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (ARPA-SLFRF) Committee recommended dedication of up to $300,000 for completion of a comprehensive Housing Action and Implementation Plan.
Your board approved consultant services by Placeworks to complete the Housing Action and Implementation Plan (HAIP). The Contract dates are April 16, 2024 through April 16, 2025. We are requesting an extension of this contract through May 30, 2025, at no additional cost to the County.
Staff Recommends your Board Approve this Amendment, and Authorize the Chair to Sign.
