Executive Summary:

The National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference will take place this year in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from July 10, 2025 to July 14, 2025.  There are pre-conference events and trainings available on July 10. Should Supervisors Sabatier and Pyska want to attend they will fly out on July 9. If they do not, they will fly to Philadelphia on July 10. The conference ends on July 14 with a full day of regional caucus and business meetings. Both supervisors will travel home the morning of July 15, 2025.

Conference content includes discussion of federal policies impacting counties, workshops lifting up county best practices, engaging general sessions, mobile tours across the host county, and more. As always, networking is a key component, and all contacts made and fostered are valuable to Lake County as information, policy, and innovative ideas are shared. These relationships provide positive impacts to our communities.

Estimated cost per Supervisor is no more than $3,500 and includes registration (early bird), hotel (host), meals not provided, airfare (roundtrip), and transportation to and from airport.
