Subject:                     Adopt Resolution Accepting the Work of the 14C-0061 Cole Creek Bridge (Soda Bay Road) Oak Mitigation Project (BRLO-5914(108)) and 14C-0085 Highland Creek Bridge (Highland Springs Road) Oak Mitigation Project (BRLO-5914(109)) and Direct the Public Works Director to file the Notice of Completion with the County of Lake Recorder’s Office

 

Executive Summary:

 

On February 27, 2018, the County of Lake (County) executed a construction contract between Lake County (County) and Hanford Applied Restoration & Conservation in the amount of $342,446.97, for oak tree mitigation services for the Cole Creek Bridge at Soda Bay Road Oak Mitigation Project (BRLO-5914(108)) and Highland Springs Road over Highland Creek Bridge Oak Mitigation Project (BRLO-5914(109)). 

 

The County executed 1 amendment which increased the final contract amount to $351,034.23.00, that is, 2.5%.

 

Project construction for the Highland Creek Bridge Oak Mitigation is fully funded by Highway Bridge Program funds and State Toll Credits. Project construction for the Cole Creek Bridge Oak Mitigation is fully funded by Highway Bridge Program and Local funds.

 

On January 23, 2025, the work was completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director.

 

The Public Works Director prepared the attached resolution accepting the work and directing the Public Works Director to file the Notice of Completion.

 

A resolution accepting the work of the Cole Creek Bridge (Soda Bay Road) Oak Mitigation Project (BRLO-5914(108)) and the Highland Creek Bridge (Highland Springs Road) Oak Mitigation Project (BRLO-5914(109)) is attached.
