SUBJECT: Approve the First Amendment to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Modesto Residential Living Center, LLC. for Adult Residential Support Services and Specialty Mental Health Services for Fiscal Year 2016-17 in the amount of $2,090 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Amendment.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Attached, for your approval, is the First Amendment to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Modesto Residential Living Center, LLC. for Adult Residential Support Services and Specialty Mental Health Services for Fiscal Year 2016-17.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: Modesto Residential Living Center, LLC is an Adult Residential Facility licensed by the State of California, which is specific to the needs of adult clients that require placement. Modesto Residential Living Center, LLC. has proven to be a cost-efficient alternative for care of clients ready to be transitioned from Institutes for Mental Disease.
As all Lake County Medi-Cal beneficiaries have transitioned out of this facility to different levels of care, Lake County Behavioral Health is requesting a decrease in the total maximum payable under the Agreement of $89,160 for a new contract maximum of $2,090.

FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): As all Lake County Medi-Cal beneficiaries have transitioned out of this facility to different levels of care, Lake County Behavioral Health is requesting the approval of the First Amendment to the Agreement for a decrease in the total maximum payable under the Agreement in the amount of $89,160 for a new contract maximum of $2,090. The funds from the decrease in this contract will be re-allocated to other contracts within the same level of care.
