Subject: Sitting as the Board of Directors of the Lake County Watershed Protection District, Approve the Agreement between the Lake County Watershed Protection District and Bullfrog Underwater Services, and Authorize the Water Resources Director to sign and execute the Agreement.
Executive Summary:
Attached for your approval, is the Agreement between the Lake County Watershed Protection District (“District”) and Bullfrog Underwater Services to conduct aquatic plant removal using diving techniques to support completion of a California Department of Pesticide Regulation Alliance Grant.
Bullfrog is an established vendor with the District and is the only local company that provides diving services for aquatic plant removal. In accordance with the County purchasing code, the District reached out to the two other Department of Agriculture approved aquatic plant contractors to solicit competing quotes, however neither firm was able to provide a quote at this time.
