Executive Summary:

North Coast Opportunities will present on the BUILD (Building Up Individuals and Local Development) Program, a workforce development and hands-on construction training initiative that supports local residents through a paid, four-month “earn-and-learn” model.

 

The presentation will include:

• A brief history of North Coast Opportunities (NCO) and the Community Wellness Department, presented by, Justin Gaddy, Director of Community Wellness

 

• Derek Fiedler, Project Manager for the BUILD Program, will share program updates, participant success stories, and future goals for Clearlake and Lake County

 

• Overview of the BUILD Program’s recent progress and impact

 

• Participant success stories and measurable outcomes

 

• Review of the current ARPA-funded budget.
