Subject: (a) Approve Letter of Agreement between the Lake County Sheriff's Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) in the amount of $210,000 for the period October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020; and (b) authorize Sheriff to sign the Agreement and (c) authorize the Chairman to sign Workplace Certifications and Grant Assurances
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Sheriff’s office requests approval of the Drug Enforcement Administration Marijuana Eradication Agreement for federal fiscal year 2019/20. This agreement is in the amount of $210,000. These funds are allocated in the FY2019/20 Sheriff/Marijuana budget request for Budget Unit 2203.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: (a) Approve Letter of Agreement between the Lake County Sheriff's Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) in the amount of $210,000 for the period October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020; and (b) authorize Sheriff to sign the Agreement and (c) authorize the chairman to sign Workplace Certifications and Grant Assurances
