Subject: Approve Agreement Between County of Lake and Redwood Community Services, Inc. for the MHSA Lake County Family Stabilization Program in the Amount of $221,000.00 for FY 2022-23 and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
Lake County Behavioral Health Services’ (LCBHS) Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) program has funded the Family Stabilization Program since 2017. LCBHS’ MHSA operates on cycles of three years, and FY 2022-23 reflects the last year of the current three-year cycle that began FY 2020-21. As this program is tied into the three year plan, which involves robust stakeholder engagement and feedback, LCBHS is obligated to continue the Family Stabilization program operated by Redwood Community Services, Inc. to be in alignment with the MHSA plan. Because of this, LCBHS did not issue a Request for Proposals for this or any other MHSA program service. LCBHS plans to issue RFPs for services identified in the next three year plan cycle, beginning FY 2023-24.
