Executive Summary:

 

On December 21, 2022, your Board approved the agreement for investigative services between the County of Lake and Oppenheimer Investigations Group to perform an impartial personnel investigation with costs not to exceed $25,000. This amount was increased to $30,000 pursuant to your Board’s April 25, 2023 minute order. Based on the costs incurred to date, Oppenheimer Investigations Group incurred costs totaling $30,522, so the amendment proposes to increase the cap of investigation costs by $522.

 

This agreement is exempt from competitive bidding procedures pursuant to Lake County Code Section 2-39.2 and Section 1.C.2 of the County’s Consultant Selection Policy.
