Memorandum
Date: December 11, 2023
To: The Honorable Lake County Board of Supervisors
From: Chief Probation Officer Wendy Mondfrans
Subject: Approve Addendum to Agreement between the County of Lake and Tyler Technologies to add additional services for an amount of $15,000; and authorize the Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
The Probation Department first contracted with Caseload Pro for case management software in 2013. Caseload Pro was purchased by Tyler Technologies in 2018, and the County of Lake and Tyler Technologies entered into a contract in March of 2020. Extensions to this contract were approved by this Board in 2022 and 2023.
In 2022, the Board approved an addendum to the contract in order to have the Tyler system communicate directly with the Superior Court’s computer system in order to make Pre-Trial Services more productive. This service was funded by an agreement between the Probation Department and the Superior Court.
As the contract work has continued with Tyler Technologies, it was realized additional work is needed to make the process most efficient. This contract addendum is meant to cover any additional issues that may arise during the data exchange conversion.
