On February 1, 2021, the Lake County Housing Commission (LCHC) held a Public Hearing to review the proposed Housing Choice Voucher Program Administrative Plan for 2021. Attendees at the Public Hearing included members of the Board of Housing Commissioners, members of the Resident Advisory Board, and LCHC Staff. During the 45-day public comment period that preceded this hearing, there were no comments received. During the hearing, staff gave a presentation detailing the proposed changes to the Plan from 2020 to 2021. There were no recommended revisions to the proposed plan and it was approved to submit to HUD as written.
In addition to Board approval of the Plan, the LCHC is requesting the Chair of the Board of Housing Commissioners sign the Annual Civil Rights Certification (HUD Form HUD-50077-CR) as required by HUD each year.
