Background

On July 19, 2022, your Board approved allocation of up to $300,000 to fund an Agreement for a Broadband Action Plan Consultant.  RFP 22-32 was issued August 5, 2022, with a submission deadline of Thursday, September 15, 2022.  Six Proposals were ultimately received and determined to be complete.  A Consultant Selection Panel was convened Tuesday, October 11, 2022, and the Panel conducted follow-up interviews Thursday, October 27, 2022, with the two provisionally top-ranked candidates.  As a result of that process, CBG Communications, Inc., was identified as the most suitable firm to conduct the Scope of Work envisioned by RFP 22-32.  Your Board awarded a Contract to CBG, in the not-to-exceed amount of $245,000, Tuesday, December 20, 2022.  The CBG team has been working in earnest in the months since, and the attached document describes their progress, to date.
