Memorandum

Date:                                          March 18, 2025

To:                                          Honorable Eddie “EJ” Crandell, Chair, Lake County Board of Supervisors

From:                                          District 2 Supervisor, Bruno Sabatier

Subject:                     Consideration of Amendment 1 to Agreement for Professional Services Between the County of Lake and Lake County Peg-Tv

Executive Summary:

On June 11, 2024 the Board of Supervisors approved a three year contract with Lake County PEG-TV for videography services for the Municipal Advisory Councils.  $10,000 was allocated for 3 fiscal years.  With the new Big Valley Advisory Council added to the list of MACs that PEG provides videography services and soon to start in March the request to provide videography services for the Scotts Valley Community Advisory Council, PEG will be exceeding the maximum not to exceed of $10,000 for the 24/25 fiscal year.

In order to continue services to all of the MACs, this contract amendment increases the maximum not to exceed for the 24/25 fiscal year to $17,000.  Once we can analyze the average cost per month with all of the MACs actively utilizing the PEG videography services, we can better estimate the cost increases for the 25/26 FY and 26/27 FY in a future amendment.
