Subject: Approve the Plans and Specifications for the Kelseyville Senior Center Improvements Project and Authorize the Public Services Director to Advertise for Bids
Executive Summary:
The plans and specifications are complete for the Kelseyville Senior Center Improvement Project. The project is funded from a federal grant through the Community Development Block Grant Mitigitation Resilient Infrastructure Program as well as American Rescue Plan Act State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. Public Services staff worked with the Kelseyville Senior Center Board of Directors and solicited public input to develop the renovation scope of work.
In accordance with State code and County policy, for the County to advertise for construction your Board must approve the project plans and specifications. A copy of the plans and specifications are available for review at the Public Services Department, and an abridged set of improvement plans is included with this agenda item to provide a general project understanding. With your approval, staff is prepared to solicit bids for construction.
Appropriations are included in Budget Unit 1778, Capital Projects.
