Subject: Consideration of Lake County/City Area Planning Council Membership to Remove a Member-At-Large

The Lake County/City Area Planning Council (Lake APC) recommends the Lake County Board of Supervisors remove a Member-At-Large. Your Board appointed Sally Peterson to the Lake County/City Area Planning Council in 2021. Lake APC Staff were unaware of the appointment and Ms. Peterson had not participated in meetings. After contacting Ms. Peterson, she stated she was also unaware of the appointment but was interested in serving. Follow up attempts were made to confirm availability but no response has been received.
This recommendation was approved by the Lake County/City Area Planning Council Executive Committee and is reflected in the draft February 4, 2026 Lake County/City Area Planning Council Minutes, Item 6 (attached for review).
