Subject: Consideration of Amendment No.1 to the Agreement Between County of Lake and Parkview Healthcare Center for Adult Residential and Skilled Nursing Support Services and Specialty Mental Health Services for Fiscal Year 2024-25 in the Amount of $340,000.
Executive Summary:
This agenda item seeks approval of an amendment to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Redwood Community Services, Inc., originally effective July 1, 2024, for the provision of mental health services.
Key modifications include:
• Correction of a clerical error by removing a duplicate Section 2.2 in Exhibit B.
• Clarification of payment terms in Exhibit B, Section 6, to reflect accurate County reimbursement rates, including a $175 patch rate per patient day, a $650 daily rate for room and board in a locked unit, and an $850 daily sitter rate.
• Increase in contract maximum by $287,150, resulting in a new total not-to-exceed amount of $340,000.
• Amendment to Section 3 (“Compensation”) to reflect the updated contract total.
These revisions ensure accurate invoices, align payment obligations with current service costs, and support ongoing delivery of mandated specialty mental health services.
