Subject:                     Consideration and Discussion of an Agreement with AMPM Consulting, LLC for Departmental and Countywide Capital Improvement Planning Services, For an Amount Not to Exceed $157,950 and Authorize the Chair to Sign

 

Executive Summary:

 

RFP 24-25 Strategic Capital Improvement Plan sought consultant services to work with the Public Services Department, Public Works Department, the Special Districts Administration, and the Administration Office to build out departmental Capital Improvement Plans (CIP) and construct a Countywide CIP system. AMPM’s proposal was selected.

 

The consultant would initially work with the aforementioned departments to systematize plans, metrics, and processes, then establish capital planning scenarios, constraints, and targets, and finally develop a dynamic capital planning system that can adjust for project prioritization and funding scenarios Countywide. The Treasurer-Tax Collector would be closely involved in developing financial scenarios.

 

The estimated timeframe for the project is approximately 180 days. Work products will include devising project summaries for every capital project, CIPs at the departmental and County levels, capital projects internal project management software, and GIS mapping of the CIP projects for bother internal and external websites.
