Subject: (A) Approve Amendment One to the Agreement with One Workplace for the Lake County Sheriff Administration Facility Furnishings Package in an amount not to exceed $687,549; (B) Authorize the Chair to sign the amendment and (C) Authorize the Sheriff to issue the associated purchase order.
Executive Summary: Following the April 7, 2026, Board of Supervisors meeting, during which your Board approved the purchase of furnishings for the Sheriff’s Office's New Main Administrative Building located at 1431 Hoyt Avenue in Lakeport (Item 5.25), the Sheriff’s Office and Public Works coordinated with One Workplace, the selected vendor, to review and refine the furnishing proposal.
As a result of this collaboration, Amendment One to the Agreement with One Workplace is presented for your Board’s review and approval. The amended agreement reflects a reduction in total cost from the originally proposed $739,036.92 to $687,548.07, yielding a savings of $51,488.85 to the Sheriff’s Rural Fund Budget (Fund 2206).
Recommendation:
Approve Amendment One to the Agreement with One Workplace for the Lake County Sheriff Administration Facility Furnishings Package in an amount not to exceed $687,549. Authorize the Chair to sign the amendment and the Sheriff to issue the associated purchase order.
