Subject: Consideration of Resolution Approving County of Lake Health Services to Apply for Funding in the Amount of $488,205 Through the California Department of Public Health for Fiscal Years 2025 Through 2030 and Authorize the Director of Health Services to Sign Said Application

Executive Summary:

We respectfully request your approval to accept funding from the California Department of Public Health for Sexually Transmitted Infection and Disease Intervention Support for the period of FY 2025-2030 in the amount of $488,205.

This funding supports critical prevention, case investigation, contact tracing and other intervention services to reduce the spread of sexually transmitted infections in Lake County. These services help protect community health, lower long-term treatment costs, and address disparities affecting vulnerable populations.
